Exactly the kind of attitude that is needed for India’s prosperity : Sena planning a prayer at Taj Mahal because they believe there is a temple underneath it it is a temple.

Instead why not the Sena start building their own version of Taj Mahal, similar to Shiv Vada Pav to tackle the growth of McDonalds (hearing which, even The Great Shivaji would have turned in his grave). Firstly, it would keep the sainiks busy for another 22 years. And for people who doubt their skill in construction, they have demolished and vandalized so many buildings and structures that they have got an unparalleled understanding of architecture and now they are well equipped to build a structure that cannot be vandalized, even by Sainiks themselves  !

Personally, I think that Taj Mahal no longer is a symbol of religion, it is a symbol of art.

Meanwhile, I believe that hundreds of years ago, there was nothing but plain ground below Uncle Thakre’s house and I demand that it be given back.
