Pune’s commissioner of police Satyapal Singh proposes to ban head scarves with the quote of the day : “Why do women have to wear scarves and look like terrorists?”.
Maybe it makes their job tougher. But I personally do not think it should be a problem to identify the real terrorists. Because no self respecting scarf-clad terrorist would wear a salwar or top, own a scooty and ride it at 30 kmph.

First of all, if I have my news correct, the ban is on hiding ur face, not on wearing a head scarf.
Secondly, why wouldnt a self respecting terrorist wear ahead scarf? Dont they want to blend in and look like the locals so as to attract minimum attention? Have you seen the pfotographs of terrorists lately? I dont think they look very different from the rest of us.
If someone is taking a step which is for the general safety of public I think the citzens should be supportive and not sarcastic because they are having to change their habits.

1. The ban is to promote wearing of helmets, and I am not sure you can see people’s faces in a helmet.
2. Do terrorists really roam around wearing scarves ? Or do they wear them after they are caught to avoid showing their face ?
3. You missed the “self-respecting scarf-clad terrorist” comment by a few light years.
