Just when you thought things cannot get worse for the Kolkata Knight Riders, they do.
Former India cricketer Ajay Jadeja during a chat show on a news channel revealed that Knight Riders’ Indian players are being ill-treated by foreign coaching staff.
Jadeja revealed how an Indian player was asked to come off while fielding and when asked why he was called back, one of the assistant coaches said: “You Indian, you do as you’re told.”
So now the only worse things remaining are a match-fixing allegation (which would say non-flatterring things about the bookie who approaches the KKR to throw away a match), someone taking drugs (again slim chance .. wait .. do you get performance damaging drugs ?) and a player coming out as gay (SRK and Karan Johar do not count).
Thankfully, they still have some more time there.

Err, I don’t really follow cricket anymore, but it occurs to me that racism directed towards ‘Indians’ in the ‘Indian’ Premier League may somewhat ironic. No?

@Xeb : Forget ironic, it is just wrong !! The IPL was invented with one sole aim which was that we could be racist towards anyone we like because we have the money. Now everything is screwed up. So sad.
