I kept yours because some folks set up a ‘notify if someone replies to my comment’ thing. Now that you’ve replied back, I can delete your comment with your permission. And this exchange too

Of all the things I read said about him since I heard the news, this one echoes my sentiment the most.

PS: Do you always delete parts of your comments? What happens then to the sincere, now orphaned responses to what was deleted?
