Nothing spoils a joke like the plain, boring truth. A Delhi boy does exactly that amidst his stereotyping in the social media. Really, any person who took part in such distasteful stereotyping ought be humiliated in public. Or if it’s a girl, she should visit Delhi.
Score!

Delhi Girl :)
The humour was subtle, sophisticated and so effective
Your post was incredibly calming. (That coming from probably the most hyper person in the world).
I’ve been born and “dragged up”
in Delhi for all of 24 years. The men in my family, my closest friends and relatives are all products of Delhi and they’re some of the most cultured & respectful men I’ve known. So you can imagine what my reaction would have been to that girl’s vile-spitting, hatred full post.
But after reading yours, I felt like saying – “I rest my case”. And that’s one of the best feelings to end the day with!
Thanks for making the effort to write this – it’s a voice for thousands of us
Delhi can sleep in peace tonight
