An nice Irish campaign against bullying of gay students:

(I rolled my eyes at the Irish stereotyping before I read it was an Irish campaign.)

Funnily enough, in India it is acceptable for straight guys to hold hands and walk in public (believe me: we do this .. a lot). However gay guys holding hands would be heckled — often by the same straight guys who hold hands. Likewise, straight girls holding hands are common. But heterosexual couples holding hands: no-no. Aunties and uncles would react as if the couple were locking lips in public — which shouldn’t be a taboo either.

I guess we’re just a conservative society because no one has sex in India.
